THE OPPORTUNITY

Jumpstart is seeking an outgoing, organized, and empathetic Customer Support Agent to join our growing team and provide exceptional service to our customers online. In this position, you will interact directly with our customers to answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company’s reputation for high-quality service.

Partnering with the Customer Support Team Lead, this individual will be expected to have a strong understanding of core customer support concepts with the ability to drive projects from inception to completion.  

The Customer Support Agent will work within the Customer Support department and will report to the Community and Customer Success Manager.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain updated knowledge of all company products and services to provide adequate education to customers
  • Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Provide information and instructions about relevant products and services to customers in a timely manner
  • Make product and service suggestions to meet the customer’s specific needs
  • Promptly respond to customer questions submitted via email or our website
  • Answer customer questions and provide information to resolve any issues
  • Obtain necessary information from customers to follow up and resolve issues
  • Document important customer information for future reference
  • Collect and record customer feedback and information, and share with appropriate departments and team members
  • Attend all required customer service-related meetings
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service-related role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to foster and maintain relationships
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once
  • Positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
  • Basic computer skills and excellent disposition
  • Willingness to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong appetite for accountability and follow-through
