Position Summary

Software QA Engineer: Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.

Qualifications

Works on assignments that often require the application of independent judgment. Fully competent, career-level individual contributor. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Education And Experience

Software Testing experience required. API Testing, Test Automation, Networking, or IBM iSeries experience preferred. Casino Marketing, Slot Operations, or Software Development experience a plus.

No degree and >10 years of experience; or

Associates degree and >8 years of experience; or

Bachelor’s degree and >5 years of experience; or

Master’s degree and >3 years experience.

  • This position may require lite travel to assist/support in product deployments.
