At Second Dinner, the product management team are game developers. We are intimate partners with game design, UX, production, art, engineering, marketing, data, and analytics. These partnerships are critical to creating a game that is fun for our players and achieving our goals. Product managers at Second Dinner are embedded in the game team, write design specs, create wireframes, engage on scope and prioritization with engineering and production, and deep dive on analytics with data scientists. Every day will create new exciting opportunities to make an amazing game and team even better!Your Role

We are seeking a principal level Product Manager. You will report to the Senior Director of Product & Strategy. Your primary responsibility is to partner with Design, Production, Marketing, Data & Analytics, and many other disciplines to drive new product features and optimize existing ones to make our game crazy fun and HUGE worldwide.   • Partner with design and production to define and prioritize liveops events, in-game purchasing experiences, and the live service roadmap
  • Serve as the product owner for new KPI-impacting features and optimization of existing features to drive towards achieving long term goals for the game
  • Oversee Live Ops initiatives, mentoring Product Managers working on the ongoing content cadence for Snap
  • Perform competitive research, analyze industry trends, and implement best practices to ensure we are on the the forefront of making and operating an industry leading game
  • Partner with the analytics team to deeply understand our players and game, and translate insights into impactful specs and experiments
  • Use a blend of product intuition, competitive intelligence, consumer sentiment, and data to improve our understanding of the potential impact of content and feature proposals
  • Create models and frameworks to continuously improve decision making and identify opportunities for growth across the player experience

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong experience in video game product management focused on feature development or live operations
  • Demonstrated track record of success developing live service features that impact topline KPIs.
  • Experience using analytical and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
  • Passionate player of mobile and F2P games
  • Experience and mindset for serving a diverse and global player base
  • Thinks both analytically and creatively; trusts that the best solutions are usually art + science
  • Be curious! Seeks new insights and discovers ways to utilize them to improve the game
  • Be creative! Writes specs and designs that are targeted towards increasing specific KPIs
  • Be a leader! Utilizes amazing communication skills to excite and rally the team around iteration and new concepts

Nice to Have But Not Necessary:

  • Experience working in mobile and/or free-to-play games
  • Technical knowledge or ability to code in Unity / C# / SQL
  • Previous startup experience
  • MS/MBA, preferably in a quantitative discipline

The total compensation for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $190,000 - $280,000 USD + equity + comprehensive benefits + potential for discretionary performance bonuses.Individual pay within this salary range may span multiple levels within the discipline and is determined by assessed job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training. It also factors in market demands and business needs. The disclosed range is not adjusted based on location and may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future.
