About Us:

At Rambe Games, we are on the brink of redefining the gaming industry with our upcoming First-Person Shooter (FPS) Vertical Extraction Shooter game, developed on Unreal Engine 5. Our mission is to break the mould of traditional AAA studios by daring to create games filled with innovation, excitement, and unexplored concepts. As we enter the pre-production phase of our groundbreaking project, we are searching for an experienced Game Designer who shares our passion, vision, and relentless drive to create a genuinely fun gaming experience.

The Role:

We are looking for a Game Designer with a proven track record of success in the gaming industry. The ideal candidate will be the driving force behind our game design, leading a dedicated team to achieve greatness. This role is not just a job; it's a career-defining opportunity to be a core contributor to the success of a new, innovative studio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the game design process for our FPS Vertical Extraction Shooter game, from concept to completion. For an idea of the gameplay we envision, consider titles such as The Finals and Apex Legends.
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to ensure the game's vision is realised to the highest quality.
• Innovate and implement game mechanics that set our title apart from traditional offerings.
• Drive the creative process, encouraging risk-taking in game design to create a unique and fun experience.
• Mentor and guide a team of designers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in game design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your contributions to successful, high quality and/or AAA quality games.
• Previous experience working for a notable company within the gaming industry, with a proven track record of shipped games.
• Experience designing a FPS game.
• Profound knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, with hands-on experience in game development using this platform.
• Great organisational skills, structuring your workflow so we can easily bring people into production.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive a small, agile team towards success.
• A genuine passion for creating fun, innovative games that challenge the status quo.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude that fits our company culture.
